FlyTriever

Description

The DFP Flytriever is a device that assists in retrieval of flies caught in trees and bushes and helps prevent tippet being left in undesirable places. It is now supplied with an adjustable pull handle, which makes it even quicker to use.

The Flytriever hook is made with a carbon fibre infused nylon with glass fibre reinforcement that gives it a strength similar to aluminium but with half the weight.
After unravelling the cord from the prongs on the hook, the longer prong is slipped into the into the tip ring of the rod, allowing the rod to be used to place the hook over the offending branch. (the one that you were sure you were going to avoid!) Carefully remove the rod, leaving the Flytriever hook in place. Slide the adjustable pull handle to a convenient position to pull the branch to a height that allows retrieval of the fly.

After use, the cord is wrapped around both prongs, which ensures that it is tangle free and ready for use.
