DFP Magnetic Net Holder

Description

The DFP Magnetic Net Holder has been developed to securely attach landing nets to a D-ring on jacket or waders with a combined security lanyard to prevent loss of the net if dropped during use.

The magnet housings are printed on Markforged 3D printers using carbon fibre infused PA6 Nylon. The magnets are N52 grade Neodymium with a 5kg separation force. Black finished stainless-steel Nite-Ize clips are used to secure the top housing to a D-ring and to fix the security lanyard to the net.

There are two options for the net part of the magnet housing. One is secured using two cable ties. This fixing is suited to landing nets with tubular frames and lose nets. The other is secured to the net frame with a Biothane webbing loop and a brass binding screw. (supplied with a medium strength locking compound to prevent unwanted loosening) This type is suitable for landing nets with fixed nets.
